The 40th anniversary limited edition guitars are a unique collection of instruments hand built in celebration of George Lowden’s 40th anniversary year of guitar making. George himself has personally chosen all woods and bracing sets for these guitars. In addition, he has voiced and hand-carved the dolphin profile, closed the soundbox and overseen the final set up of each guitar.
These guitars feature a specially designed label and 40th inlay, and come with a souvenir photographic record book chronicling each build.
A special provenance document bearing the signatures of all the craftspersons involved will also accompany the guitar, serving as recognition of the entire team that is behind every Lowden.
