When I was a teenager my dream guitar was a 335, mainly because I loved the guitar sound from tracks like 'white room' and 'politician!'
Then recently I had the idea of designing a double cutaway electric but not too big, and ….. most importantly made with a solid wood top plate (not laminated)
And so after a trip away to do some design work the GL-J was born. Lighter in weight than the GL-10 because of the semi-hollow design, it can be more comfortable during long gigs. It’s exceedingly comfortable, and of course the neck contour is like the GL-10 so the very smooth sound is matched by being so easy to play.
Lollar imperials are standard but other pickup combinations are available in our custom shop versions.
