What is the Online Showroom?

The Online Showroom is a unique opportunity to purchase pre-configured guitars directly from Lowden, available for immediate dispatch.

Would I be ordering a specific guitar?

Yes. Guitars listed in the Lowden Online Showroom have a serial number attached. The images, video and audio are of that exact guitar - what you see and hear is what you get - but once it's gone, its gone!

Are taxes or duties included in the price?

UK and EU VAT is included in the purchase price, as well as US import duty. For all other destinations worldwide any import tax or duty due is excluded and is the responsibility of the buyer. These costs will usually be billed to you at point of import by the carrier. Please check the relevant government websites in your home country and/or state to view details.

Do these guitars have a warranty?

Yes, all guitars purchased via the Online Showroom come with the Lowden Guitars lifetime warranty to the first owner. Details of the warranty can be found in the book provided with your guitar and here. To register your warranty, use this page.

How long will it take to receive my guitar?

Lowden operating policy dictates that all guitars receive a final QC prior to dispatch, irrespective of when the guitar was completed. This usually takes a couple of days. Once the guitar has been cleared as ready for dispatch, it will be shipped to you the next day. Shipping times vary depending on destination but are usually no more than five working days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide from our home in County Down, Northern Ireland, and international shipping is free on all guitars.

How is my guitar protected during shipping?

All Lowden guitars are supplied with a hard case for protection, and we have plenty of experience shipping globally. We are responsible for the safe transit of your guitar until it arrives at your door, wherever you are in the world.

Can I still purchase Lowden Guitars from an authorised dealer?

Absolutely. We have dealers worldwide who continue to carry our guitars in stock and will be happy to place orders for you. Please see the 'Find a stockist' page for details.

Do you offer financing for direct purchases?

No. We are not currently able to offer financing options.

What makes Lowden Guitars unique?

Lowden Guitars stand out for their exceptional craftsmanship, innovative bracing system, and unique tonewood combinations. Hand-built in Northern Ireland and known for rich, articulate tones with excellent sustain and projection, Lowden guitars are particularly favoured by fingerstyle players. The guitars feature comfortable, ergonomically designed necks and are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from the bracing to the finish. Lowden's focus on tonal richness, clarity, and customisation options makes them a top choice for musicians seeking high-quality, nuanced acoustic and electric instruments.

How do I track my order?

Once an order is placed we will be in contact to confirm. Our carriers include UPS and DHL, and when your guitar is despatched we will provide the tracking number email.

Can I collect my guitar in person?

Yes, we can arrange for you to visit and collect the guitar in person.

What should I do if I have further questions?

Please feel free to contact us by phone, email or via our Live Chat facility - we will be happy to help you secure your custom build.
