For years I have been thinking of developing a light weight “bolt on” design neck joint - one that would achieve a really solid joint but not disturb the natural balance of the instrument.
I have also reduced the neck stiffness slightly by using a 3 piece design which also allows a little more transference of the necks natural vibration.
The results are two completely new models which still very much have that characteristic Lowden tone which now seems a little more versatile between different playing styles from bluegrass to fingerpicking to celtic strumming.
