This is one of my personal favorites along with Madagascar rosewood - in many ways it has the best of all worlds, clear, warm, defined and usually dark in colour.
Very like Brazilian rosewood in many respects including tonal response.

In 2004 George decided that a series of guitars similar to the original series but with a couple of upgrades would be great to oﬀer to the players who wanted the best tuners you can get on the one hand, but also had a little more detailing in the appointments in general. So the 35 series was born.

Jazz Series

The Lowden Jazz is fitted with an board pickup as standard. The soundbox is voiced for a really great acoustic response, and at the same time stiff enough to prevent the whole guitar from overreacting when played loud through a sound system.
