Over the years, the Lowden 32 has become highly sought after for its full-bodied yet clear and defined tone. The Sitka spruce top beautifully balances the warmth and fullness of the rosewood, creating a rich, dynamic sound.
In the "O" version, it offers a warm, full, and clear voice, while the "F" provides the same tonal richness with a more focused projection, making it perfect for flat-picking and fingerstyle playing.

The GL Electric Series originally came about when George Lowden was asked by Ed Sheeran to design an electric guitar for Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody. George went away on a design retreat and thought about everything he would want from an electric guitar, and how the design would fit with the Lowden aesthetic and values. The result was the Lowden GL-10, combining the finest natural wood finishes with the impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with every Lowden Guitar.
