Unlike many other guitar makers worldwide I decided to try walnut back in the 90’s. I found many different types - Claro, Bastogne and European.
Each of these has its own unique characteristics, but if definition and clarity are at the top of your tonal wish list, look no further!
Claro and European walnut give crisp, clear and warm ish tones, while in general the Bastogne is a little harder and gives an even more defined and clear tone.

In 2004 George decided that a series of guitars similar to the original series but with a couple of upgrades would be great to offer to the players who wanted the best tuners you can get on the one hand, but also had a little more detailing in the appointments in general. So the 35 series was born.
