When we receive Indian rosewood from our friends in Bombay we are so grateful that they always select the sets for us to the highest standard possible.
I have been purchasing from the same family for 50 years and have absolutely no plans to go elsewhere!
The tone form Indian rosewood is warm and rich. If it is paired with Alpine spruce for the top the tone remains warm but with the added clarity associated with Alpine spruce.

The Lowden Jazz is fitted with an board pickup as standard. The soundbox is voiced for a really great acoustic response, and at the same time stiff enough to prevent the whole guitar from overreacting when played loud through a sound system.
