Adirondack spruce is quite distinct from the more commonly used Sitka, with its small trees and very white appearance, resembling alpine spruce. Though it often features wider growth ring spacing, don’t let that mislead you!
Adirondack spruce is known for its three-dimensional tonal quality—something words often fail to fully capture. When paired with Indian rosewood, it creates a beautiful balance of warmth and clarity. Using Adirondack for the bracing enhances volume, projection, and sustain.
The Plus models also feature the renowned 510 tuners, considered the best for their smooth operation and accuracy. To add a unique touch, we've incorporated 5000-year-old bog oak for the front and back head facings, adding both character and history to the guitar.

In 2004 George decided that a series of guitars similar to the original series but with a couple of upgrades would be great to offer to the players who wanted the best tuners you can get on the one hand, but also had a little more detailing in the appointments in general. So the 35 series was born.
